  It was my first time shopping there and I had a wonderful experience! I went in after looking at an item I wanted online. I ended up leaving spending a little more than I wanted and with two beautiful items, rather than the one I went in for. But I was very happy with my gift purchases for my husband. The service was wonderful! They did not make me feel obligated to buy anything. They did not give the sales pitch. But they went out of their way to describe details and give me the best service. Including modelling the items themselves! And not to mention they even cleaned my rings that I was wearing. A very kind gesture. :)

  But i did a layaway plan on a ring to matxh my set and the women i delt with Elaine Wan was very kind helpful and very friendly and when i go back to pay it off i will deal with her again. So I must thank her for her help and her friendly manner

  Poor service and quality of jewelery. My boyfriend purchased my promise ring here 1.5 years ago, and the diamond has fallen out 3 times and the ring broke in half 4 times since then. Thank god for warranty...

  We went in to get my ring resized for a quoted 50 dollars. The smiley gal at the counter took a look and said..wow! "these diamonds definitely need to be re-clawed." The ring was from the 40s, a family heirloom. She said they would call us in a couple days with a quote to do everything necessary. Never got a call.. so we stayed on top of things.. calling in to find out the deal. blah blah.. in the end they quoted almost 300 dollars all together. We picked up the ring, didnt feel comfortable with them having it.. We took it to Jose and Co in White Rock and got great service the whole way through. They charged 60 for resizing..and looked over the ring with no remarks..

  I received a Beautiful necklace for Christmas from my husband, unfortunately a smalll clasp was missing on it and I was unable to wear it. On Boxing Day I went to guildford to ask about exchanging the necklace or replacing it and was told they are not doing that for another few days that they where too busy. When I walked in, there where 5 employees. 3 where helping customers and two where chatting. I asked the male that was chatting for help. Not helpful. Very rude. It states right on the receipt that I have a 12 month warranty on damage. He wanted to charge me to fix a necklace that I received broken also very adamant they he had no time to fix it. Do Not Shop at micheal Hill. I did not want to exchange my necklace just replace or repair. Now I will be returning it and shopping elsewhere.
