Gardens of Gethsemani is a beautiful, peaceful place managed by kind and sensitive professionals who helped us find the best resting place for our Dad. Thank you.

The Cemetery itself is fine; however, the service we received yesterday was not pleasant. The person assisting my parents in choosing a plot was short-tempered and impatient. Her intermittent irritability, which sometimes came across as just plain rude and condescending, suggested that she was very frustrated with my family. The thing is, we don't know the cemetery business, so we have questions, and we might even end up asking the same question twice -- it's a lot to take in! It can be pretty overwhelming (and expensive) to pick out a burial plot. I would think that cemetery employees should be sensitive folks, at the very least. This lady was not. In the end, I will remember this somewhat sad occasion as one where I witnessed my parents being treated without a great deal of respect.
