After the above happed and receiving the "response from owner" I called on Monday morning and was put thru to a voice message for one of the finance managers (I believe she was one of the people that "snubbed" me on the Saturday visit. I left her a voice mail to call me back. I have still not received a return call from her. I called again today and spoke to Rob (in the finance dept). He was extremely helpful, took my name and number and call me back within 10 mins with the info I needed. Thank you Rob!! wished all employees were like you.

Gave my car in to get a recall fixed (which should have taken 1 day took 3). To my surprise, after the 3rd day of waiting I called to see how my car was and they told me they don't have the part yet which would take 2 weeks to retrieve. So for 3 days they had my car for nothing. This was partly due to the employee that helped me quitting. After telling them about my situation I was not compensated or anything. I would highly recommend visiting a different location.

went by Dams yesterday to get some documentation from a previous purchase of a new vehicle. In mid conversation the 2 people I was speaking with left with me and my wife just standing there. Even the receptionist seemed very embarrass on how we were left there. Very poor customer service. They were very good when i bought the vehicle.

I booked an oil/transmission oil change appointment online which included filling out details about the truck and myself address, phone email ,vin etc. Arrived ahead of the appointment to drop it off only to have to recite the same the the service person.

Came into Dams Ford after I ended up with a flat tire on my new 2017 Focus. I didn't have an appointment but they managed to squeeze me in and get the car looked at. All the service staff was really nice, and while I did have to wait a couple hours, that was okay because they were willing to accommodate my emergency that day. My only suggestion to Ford would be to offer a Tire Warranty in the future. I've owned this car for less than 2 months so ending up with a flat tire not covered under warranty was a bit of a drag. Certain retailers will offer you a warranty to cover flats due to road hazards for $5 a tire when you purchase a set and I would gladly pay for the additional warranty as the mainland roads always are under construction and you never know what you'll get in your tires. Thanks guys for all of your assistance!

The service person recommended I add a transfer case change to lot. I agree and asked what the price would be...when presented with the estimate of over $1600 I just about gagged. Upon further review it had lots of other items not asked for. Sparks plugs, fuel filters ( @$109??).

Excellent customer service in the service, sales and parts department. Yes, dealer prices but the parts fit first time and you do not have to go back a second time for the first fix. You get what you pay for. In this case at Dams, it is quality.

Feeling as if being duped into the estimate and feeling that this would only be the beginning of more charges for “well we had to add this and that...” I decided that as the trust had been lost there is no point continuing. I am a long time ford driver that is considering moving to others as my experiences in various ford service agents has been poor in BC.
